Update!!! New Kickstarter Campaign!!

UPDATE!!!

Before we dig into the details, a thank you goes out to everyone that has bombarded our message box with questions, comments, and encouragement.  All of our followers have kept us moving in the right direction, and showed interested investors that there are a lot of collectors looking for a product identical to ComiCase.

So, we cancelled our first product launch on KickStarter last month under the advisement of one of the investors so that we could all smooth the wrinkles out and hopefully lower prices even more on these amazing cases, and it worked!  We attracted a new investor that has significantly lowered our needed funding level to less than $13K, and he brought with him a ton of industry experience and contacts.  We have replaced our manufacturer and our distributor with more reliable businesses that will not only have better attention to detail, but will lower our cost per case.  As promised in all of our communications, this case and company was founded to offer the best case at the very best price, and we are passing on the cost savings to the customer, resulting in an amazing retail price per case.

We are re-launching tomorrow at 5 PM EST on KickStarter.  What is the price you ask???  We’ll announce that tomorrow at 12 PM EST.  Stay tuned and get ready, because we have some early bird specials that are an amazing deal.

Ready to Launch!

We just received word that we are verified to launch at Kickstarter.com! We are going to officially launch tonight @ 7:00 PM EST. There are early bird specials for the first 100 pledges, so get in there early!!!

An important note, we have been told by Kickstarter that amounts of cases 21 or more must be dealt with on a one-on-one basis with our backers. If you would like an amount of cases higher than what is offered in our pledges, please contact us at Support@ComiCase.com and we will get you set up!

Pre-KickStarter Update

Hey Friends!

A quick update on where we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re going.  To start with the easiest first, it has been a crazy couple of months leading up to going live on ComiCase.com, Twitter, and Facebook.  We have seen an amazing outpouring of support from the collecting community about our product and have seen an amazing 700 likes on Facebook in less than two weeks!  Thank you to everyone that is spreading the word about this awesome product.

We are currently in queue with Kickstarter waiting to be reviewed.  We had originally estimated for an October 21st launch (yesterday), but setting up a payment account took about 3 times longer than expected.  As all great projects go, you are bound to hit a few snags along the way.  So, we are awaiting comments and an all-clear from Kickstarter that should occur before the weekend.  We will keep you updated on that progress as it unfolds, so that you know exactly when we will go live.  There is early-bird specials, so make sure you are the first one on our Kickstarter page when we launch to get an even better deal on these amazing cases.

In the meantime get your friends, fellow collectors, and most importantly your retailers involved.  We posted yesterday a great way for your local shop to score free ComiCases!  We really need everyone to get their local retailer involved, because as we all know the best information to be found about our community is through our local stores.  We have already worked here in Morgantown to get Gary’s Comics & More involved, but now we need everyone to get their local owners onto our site to view our videos, pictures, and features.  We are counting on this great community to come out and support ComiCase, and after 700 likes in less than two weeks we see that happening!

Most importantly, a huge thank you goes out to all of our fans that are retweeting, liking, sharing, and spreading the word about ComiCase.  We couldn’t do it without you!  We have a long road ahead, and a 30 day KickStarter Campaign to show everyone that we are ready for a new level of protection and value for our comics.

Moving Along
